After you did so, you must find the Mirror's Edge Catalyst application image below. Once you found the app, select it and you will see that you have linked the game with FMM. This is the fun part!
Go to Nexus Mods [www. The listed mods below is just a selected list I can recommend to you, there are lots more on Nexus Mods: Graphics:. Once you have downloaded your mod, proceed to open it on WinRAR and "Extract To" to a new folder within the previous folder you created this is where you will be storing the actual mods.
The blue circle is the new folder I created. When you have done so, find the mod you have downloaded and double-click it. NOTE: You only need to click on the. Your system may need a restart before you start. Launch the game by clicking "Launch" and test if the mod has been done so.
If you find that it has been loaded, you have successfully modded Mirror's Edge Catalyst! Be sure to check you are running FMM in its latest version updates are released in Frosty Discord, link below - You should have Origin and Steam open as it requires both platforms to open Mirror's Edge Catalyst.
However, you can get away with having Steam only open as launching the game there also launches Origin but does not actually create a new tab for it. Though you can get away with this if you have the latest version of FMM. If so, make sure to update the latest one from Nexus Mods. However, the mods I downloaded don't seem to be outdated.
If you have multiple mods that are incompatible with each other i. This mod is a cinematic tool separate from FMM in which you can enter cinematic mode. However with Nvidia Ansel you are limited to how far you can travel from your position, and that in-game time is 'paused'.
With this cinematic tool, you are free to travel wherever you want enter noclip mode and in-game time will continue as normal, unless you manually disable it. You can also add filters, color correction, depth of field and vignette.
But please please please , don't use them in Time Trials. There are players that actually dedicate their time to get a good score without mods. I sincerely ask you to compete fairly.

Ive tried every single solve mentioned here, on the discord and on every forum I can find. Interesting, I think i'll mod my MEC to add play time, but anyone has Nexus mods link outside of this website or direct download? I'm not the type of user who create an account for one use. See below comment. My last resorts are: reinstallation, or booting in safe mode to see if that does anything.
Every fix imaginable except for reinstallation of the game because its 23 gigs and my computer is slow as shit in that regard does not work. Like many others under this post, it's a simple issue where launching from FMM no matter how many mods, 5,4,3,2,1, none simply does not work. The exe. I fear reinstallation because I'm not tryna sit through hours of waiting only for it not to work, because people with the same issue had said that simply reinstalling never helped.
Any other mod sites when searched for usually directs you to Mirror's Edge Catalyst mods. One is optional if you don't plan on replacing your character skin. Now that you have your files it's time to install them. Either way the Mod Menu works the same regardless. There are now two options on where put that file based on how easy you want to make it.
This replacement shouldn't affect anything in the main game other than providing a fix for other mods. This method creates more files to deal with when installing mods making a much more messy experience. It will be difficult to tell where your mods are using this method but it completely protects your main folder.
Remember to always navigate to your Published folder with the CookedPC folder to prevent putting files in wrong areas. You're now ready to install whatever mods you want without destroying you main folder! As a final note, it would behoove you to make a backup of your Published or CookedPC folder if you are unable to correctly identify which mod files you need to remove for uninstallation.
Removing mods is simple when you know how. Look into whatever file you downloaded and look at the contents it installs. Or you could always completely delete the CookedPC folder and use your backup of that folder instead. This is a safer and easier method but having a backup is something not everyone wants. But it should be easy to delete whatever map mod's folder you put in and replace it with a different SP0 file from another mod. Now you've read the guide and you should be knowledgeable enough to know how to install mods and uninstall mods safely and properly.
